Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform power system studies including load flow, short-circuit, and transient/dynamic stability analyses.
  • •Develop, validate, and maintain dynamic models for generators, excitation systems (AVR), turbine-governor systems, and controls.
  • •Support grid interconnection and compliance studies aligned to applicable grid codes and standards.
  • •Build and maintain detailed power system models using ETAP, Power Factory, PSCAD, and PSS®E and interpret grid codes (e.g., ENTSO-E, NERC, National Grid).
  • •Provide technical support during project execution, factory testing, site activities, commissioning, and deliver technical reports/documentation and presentations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
  • •Proven experience in power system modeling and analysis, including power system dynamics and grid integration.
  • •Typically 8–15 years of power system modelling and simulation experience.
  • •Proficiency with DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSCAD, ETAP, and PSS®E.
  • •Strong understanding of grid codes and compliance processes, plus experience developing generator, excitation system (AVR), and turbine-governor/control models.
