Job Summary

Lead and mentor a metallurgists team across Ontario to deliver metallurgical studies and engineering projects for new and existing mineral processing facilities. Partner with clients and stakeholders to shape practical, value-driven solutions, while supporting business development through proposals and market growth initiatives. Review and approve metallurgical process deliverables to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance, and serve as a Qualified Person (QP) for technical reports and hydrometallurgical guidance.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead, mentor, and develop a team of metallurgists across Ontario, fostering technical excellence and career growth.
•Drive the planning, execution, and delivery of metallurgical studies and engineering projects for mineral processing facilities.
•Build trusted client relationships and collaborate with stakeholders to understand project needs and deliver practical solutions.
•Contribute to business development activities, including proposal preparation, client engagement, and market growth initiatives.
•Review and approve metallurgical process deliverables and act as a Qualified Person (QP) for technical reports and expert technical guidance.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: 146,500 - 212,200 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
•15+ years of progressive experience in metallurgical process design, mineral processing, and hydrometallurgy.
•Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in good standing with a recognized provincial engineering association.
•Demonstrated experience leading technical teams and mentoring engineering professionals.
•Strong background in engineering consulting, feasibility studies, and detailed engineering projects within the mining and metals sector.
