Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of SOC or dedicated incident response experience with strong analytical skills for complex datasets and anomalous pattern detection.
  • •CompTIA Security+ certification (or equivalent DoD-approved baseline certification) required for Tier 2 SOC Analyst duties.
  • •Technical training, certification(s), or a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent technical work experience.
  • •Experience using AI-powered cybersecurity platforms (e.g., Copilot for Security, AI-driven EDR/XDR) and/or LLMs for log analysis and script generation.
  • •Hands-on experience with SIEM and security technologies (including Splunk and Microsoft Defender EDR/XDR) plus familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, OSI, TCP/IP, and cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
