Key Responsibilities

•Serve as the Owner’s Representative and provide full-time field construction management oversight for large substation construction projects in New York City and New York State.
•Oversee station facility construction including safety, quality, environmental compliance, schedule tracking, quantity verification, change management, pay applications, and project closeout.

Key Requirements

•Minimum of 10 years of experience in substation construction, operations, engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and field experience.
•At least 10 years of proven field experience, with strong written communications, and ability to complete/review daily and weekly reports, photo documentation, and proficiency with Word and Excel.
•Experience managing and directing quality inspectors and construction inspectors while ensuring environmental, safety, and health compliance.
•Ability to develop reporting tools to track contractor progress, installed quantities, schedule status, change items, and field issues.
•Detailed knowledge and proven record of substation construction work, including foundations, structures, bus work, equipment setting, installation, and all aspects of transmission substations and facilities.
