Key Requirements

  • •Work as a DST Trailer Mechanic Trainee (ME01) and advance to ME02 within 12 months of hire date by demonstrating required skills and passing the graded preventive maintenance process.
  • •Perform standard preventive maintenance (PM1/PM2 for trucks or trailers depending on classification) and show proficiency before advancement is granted.
  • •Have a current valid driver’s license and be able to perform required physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • •Be 18 years or older, pass an MVR check, and have no DUI/DWI convictions within the last 12 months.
  • •Read and interpret instructions, manuals, and schematics; use basic math and basic computer skills to document information and complete daily work orders.
