Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform strategic modelling and support analysis/design work using Saturn or VISUM.
  • •Use GIS, Excel VBA, and Python tools to support modelling tasks and reporting.
  • •Conduct required checks and reviews of iCRC team analysis and designs.
  • •Coordinate with senior engineers, support graduates, and attend team/project meetings.
  • •Assist with planning resource needs, manage technical project risk with the line manager, and complete timesheets by the deadline.

Key Requirements

  • •Use Saturn or VISUM for strategic transport modelling and understand software theories and limitations.
  • •Understand UK Transport Planning and modelling guidelines, including relevant design and modelling guidance.
  • •Have working knowledge of supporting tools such as GIS, Excel VBA, and Python.
  • •Support project delivery with technical capability, delivery focus, and accurate report writing.
  • •Experience in programming (VBA) and evidence of published/presented technical work is desirable.
