Job Summary

Install, configure, and troubleshoot phones and network connectivity for customers supporting the JSP ETM - NG program at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. Plan and execute network installations using manuals, test and terminate cabling, configure and deploy phones, and install firmware. Track adds/moves/changes via Remedy, coordinate equipment staging and returns, and assist clients with training and end-device configuration preferences.

•Install, configure, and troubleshoot phones and network connectivity for customers in the National Capital Region (NCR).
•Plan network installations using manuals and technical specifications, and document adds, moves, and changes.
•Terminate and test new cables, test circuits and components to isolate malfunctions, and configure/deploy phones.
•Install phone firmware and support client training and configuration preferences for end devices.
•Work with Remedy Ticketing System to track adds/moves/changes, stage and transport equipment, and manage inventory/returns.

Travel: High travel

Key Requirements

•Associates Degree in a related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience.

•Active Secret Clearance.

•Experience with phone services, telecommunication systems, and telecommunication technologies.
