Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the accounting function, covering General Ledger, sub-ledgers, and financial accounting.
  • •Own quarterly and annual closing processes in line with HGB and IFRS, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely execution.
  • •Oversee preparation of statutory financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards, legal requirements, and corporate policies.
  • •Manage internal and external financial reporting, serving as a key accounting interface to auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders.
  • •Implement robust accounting policies and controls; support M&A-related accounting and drive continuous improvement, harmonization, and automation initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • •Extensive experience with IFRS and local GAAP accounting, audit, and taxation.
  • •Minimum 5 years in a finance leadership role within an international group or Big Four audit firm.
  • •Strong advantage: professional certifications such as CPA or German Certified Tax Advisor (Steuerberater).
  • •Advanced proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and business intelligence tools.
