Job Summary

Lead development for fraud and identity decisioning capabilities within the Operations & Technology Fraud Products team. Build and maintain a Java-based, multi-tier, message-oriented Decision Management Platform that processes billions of transactions with high performance and availability. Collaborate with technical leads, coordinate offshore delivery, contribute to system design and production support, and drive secure engineering practices across the SDLC, including code reviews and security compliance.

Key Responsibilities

•Deliver software solutions through direct backend development for the fraud products decision management platform.
•Lead day-to-day system development and maintenance to meet SLAs, coordinating offshore development activities.
•Own full SDLC activities, producing requirements, design artifacts, benchmarks, deployment plans, and back-out/contingency plans.
•Provide subject matter expertise for production support by resolving incidents and problem tickets.
•Conduct design discussions, code reviews, and security (PCI) reviews; mentor team members and provide technical training and knowledge transfer.

Key Requirements

•8-12 years of software engineering experience in Java.
•Strong service/platform-level system design experience (distributed systems, event-driven architectures) with advanced design patterns.
•Expertise in Java, Spring, gRPC, and backend service development for scalable, high-performance applications.
•Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins), Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
•Familiarity with AWS, relational (Oracle) and NoSQL databases (e.g., Cassandra), plus business rule/queuing technologies such as IBM ODM, MQ, and Kafka.
