Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee and coordinate input from all technical design disciplines to ensure integrated, optimal delivery.
  • •Oversee the planning, programming, controlling, and assurance of the design content.
  • •Collaborate with package leads to enable effective communication and decision-making within the technical team for successful procurement and design alignment.
  • •Ensure designs for main infrastructure contracts are detailed enough and comply with the reference design; coordinate design information collation.
  • •Track design progress, issue progress reports, manage design/program risks, maintain design assumptions/ certificates, and support design change management.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline.
  • •10+ years’ experience in a rail engineering environment.
  • •Experience leading a small team of discipline engineers during design, construction, and integration.
  • •Experience managing a Design-Build (DB) contractor and preparing system/sub-system specifications based on customer requirements.
  • •Knowledge of relevant engineering specifications and standards (IS, BS, EN, NFPA, and other international standards).
