Job Summary

Lead enterprise business resilience risk management for Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) across Hong Kong and the AME region. Act as a key 2nd-line risk stewardship contact, providing independent review and challenge, guiding risk management frameworks, and overseeing third-party, data, transaction/payment processing, and incident/business interruption risks. Lead thematic reviews, manage emerging risks and strategic initiatives, and act as the regional transaction and payment processing risk specialist.

Key Responsibilities

•Direct and support CIB business resilience risk management for third-party, data, transaction and payment processing, and business interruption/incident risks.
•Provide independent review and challenge, highlighting material risk considerations and required mitigations to enable business growth.
•Deliver 2nd-line risk stewardship and guidance, collaborating with resilience risk specialists to manage material disruption risks.
•Oversee emerging risks, strategic initiatives, local change activities, and new products to ensure risks are identified and managed effectively.
•Act as the regional risk specialist for transaction and payment processing risk and conduct thematic reviews across the business to assess the risk/control environment.

Key Requirements

•Strong Markets and Securities Services business knowledge and senior-role experience, including exposure to Banking, Payments, Markets, and Securities Services.
•Proven experience in Operational Risk, Business Risk and Control, Technology/Data Risk, or related areas in financial services.
•Strong understanding of risk management and the ability to incorporate risk considerations into business activities.
•Analytical capability with complex data and management information analysis.
•Ability to articulate and present complex concepts to senior management and stakeholders, including presenting recommendations.
