Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, implement, and improve demand forecasting time series and causal models used across global markets.
  • •Take technical ownership of models from data collection through operationalization and align outputs with non-technical stakeholders.
  • •Propose new forecasting approaches and evolve statistical and ML models in line with company strategies.
  • •Experiment to continuously improve and refine forecasting methods.
  • •Mentor and support data scientists and colleagues while collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business objectives into data-driven strategies.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD with a track record in econometrics, statistics, computer science, physics, economics, mathematics, data science, or similar.
  • •3+ years of work experience as a (senior) data scientist in demand forecasting, developing time series and causal models.
  • •Fluency in Python and familiarity with scientific stack tools such as NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, and Matplotlib (Databricks and PySpark are a plus).
  • •In-depth knowledge of statistical uncertainty and applying statistical models such as regressors and classifiers.
  • •Ability to retrieve (using SQL), manipulate, and analyze large, heterogeneous datasets.
