  • •Deliver the full breadth of personal financial counseling services to service members and their families at assigned military installations.
  • •Provide one-on-one counseling, consultations, briefings/presentations, and referrals, including assistance with spending plans for extended absences.
  • •Develop and make available informational financial materials for service members and families.
  • •Coordinate, publicize, and provide Personal Financial Management classes/workshops across the military lifecycle, responding to requests for age-appropriate classes or seminars.
  • •Work with installation and military branch Points of Contact (POC) to ensure the program remains within scope, meets installation needs, and support required supervision and training activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree required (associate degree plus 4 years, or high school diploma plus 6 years may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's).
  • •3+ years of financial counseling experience.
  • •Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English.
  • •Be able to obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation, and pass the Congressionally Mandated Disclosures for Organizational Conflicts of Interest (OCI) process.
  • •Must have AFC, CFP, or ChFC certification.
