Job Summary

Design and develop high-performance embedded control software in support of agentic AI initiatives for mining and construction equipment. You’ll architect C++ modules for machine control, sensor integration, and automation workflows, ensuring reliability, safety, and scalability through testing and validation. Collaborate with a global engineering network, adopt AI-native development practices, enhance CI/CD with Azure DevOps, and use AI coding assistants to improve code quality and delivery velocity.

Key Responsibilities

•Architect, develop, and maintain C++ embedded software modules for machine control, sensor integration, and automation workflows for drilling and material handling equipment.
•Ensure software performance, scalability, and reliability via rigorous testing, debugging, and validation against operational and safety standards.
•Design and implement agentic AI systems, context engineering strategies, and automation feedback loops as part of an AI-native development lifecycle.
•Develop and execute automated testing frameworks leveraging AI agents to improve test coverage and efficiency.
•Support DevOps by enhancing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and participating in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) practices including sprint planning, code reviews, and retrospectives.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Robotics, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline.
•5-8 years of embedded application software development experience using C++ with strong Object-Oriented Programming skills.
•Hands-on experience with automotive/industrial communication protocols including CAN, J1939, LIN, and Ethernet.
•Proven experience with AI coding assistants and agentic AI workflows (e.g., MCP, agent-to-agent A2A communication, and agent skills design).
•Experience with Git plus project management tools such as JIRA and Polarion, working in Agile (Scrum/Kanban).
