Job Summary

Support the Head of Controllership for SEA and WCA by driving operational governance, financial integrity, and process excellence across South and Southern Africa. Serve as a subject-matter expert on controls and compliance, oversee governance routines and high-risk reviews, and help remediate audit and control gaps. Partner with country teams on operational execution, manage trackers and performance monitoring, and lead process reengineering and AI-enabled automation for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

•Act as a subject-matter expert on policies, controls, and governance requirements.
•Oversee monitoring and governance routines such as Control Committee Meetings and pre-closure review processes.
•Conduct in-depth reviews of high-risk/high-value projects, identify gaps, and support remediation of control deficiencies, audit findings, and compliance issues.
•Partner with country teams to provide insights and solutions, manage the operations pipeline tracker/workload distribution/performance monitoring, and support cross-functional initiatives.
•Lead process reengineering and identify automation and AI-enabled solutions to improve control, efficiency, and reduce manual effort.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or higher (preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field).
•Greater than 10 years’ experience in accounting, compliance, internal controls, audit, or operations (multinational experience preferred).
•Experience supporting senior leadership in high volume, fast-paced environments.
•Demonstrated experience in governance, operational risk, or financial controls.
