Key Responsibilities

  • •Advise on IP issues across creative, marketing and production activities, including copyright, trade marks, designs and passing off.
  • •Review campaign concepts and production materials to identify and mitigate IP risk, and advise on ownership, licensing and exploitation.
  • •Support production teams on legal and clearance aspects, including reviewing production agreements, talent agreements and supplier contracts.
  • •Conduct advertising and regulatory reviews for marketing communications and substantiate advertising claims across multiple media channels.
  • •Draft, negotiate and advise on commercial agreements and deliver training and governance on IP and advertising clearance.

Key Requirements

  • •Qualified solicitor in England & Wales (or equivalent common law qualification).
  • •5–6 years PQE gained in a leading law firm and/or in-house legal department.
  • •Strong experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
  • •Demonstrable expertise in intellectual property law.
  • •Experience providing advertising clearance and marketing law advice.
