Key Responsibilities

  • •Use technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders, and track machine service intervals.
  • •Order parts and diagnose equipment issues quickly to determine root cause and corrective action.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance and repairs for power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors.
  • •Troubleshoot failures in the shop and on customer locations and complete the repairs.
  • •Maintain daily paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed and assist with equipment/parts pick-up and delivery.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position.
  • •Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
  • •Experience performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment.
  • •Able to calculate nominal/effective tonnage and/or kW requirements and read schematics.
  • •EPA 608 certification is preferred; if not certified, obtain within 6–12 months of employment.
