Job Summary

Supervise and coordinate the construction, operation, and maintenance of electric and/or gas distribution and transmission systems. Plan and schedule crews and preventive/corrective maintenance, ensure work follows standards, safety rules, policies, and budgets, and oversee emergency restoration. Administer claims and compliance documentation while supporting customer issue resolution and coordinating with regulatory and government agencies. Manage safety training, inspections, and employee evaluations.

•Supervise employees and oversee safe, efficient daily field activities for line and gas/electric departments and contractor crews.
•Plan and schedule work, assess project scope, assign crews and skills balance, and arrange special equipment and materials.
•Administer damage claims and billing, leak reports, time sheets, store orders, job kitting, workorder balancing, and monitor Gas Records for audit compliance.
•Oversee construction office operations and support budget management; coordinate activities with local and state highway officials.
•Coordinate safety training, documentation, inspections, and accident investigations, and supervise emergency restoration.

Salary: USD 106,000 - 132,500

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience preferred; Associate degree with at least 7 years; or High School Diploma/GED with 10 years plus completion of the relevant progression program.
•Knowledge of line work and construction.
•Knowledge of line, gas, and/or electric theory, including switching, tagging, labor agreement, safety manual, leak detection methods, procedures, and instrumentation.
•Knowledge of industry codes including NEC, NESC, Hazmat, and OSHA.
•Valid Driver’s License; may require various DOT Operator Qualifications.
