Job Summary

Electrical Test Engineer for Starlink PCB manufacturing leads the development and optimization of manufacturing processes and automation for high-volume PCB production. You’ll design and implement DOE studies, qualify equipment, and partner with senior leadership on design phases to scale production of SpaceX’s Starlink PCBs, ensuring reliability, quality, and cost-effective manufacturing across multiple sites.

•Develop, implement, and maintain new and/or improved manufacturing processes, equipment, technologies, and facilities (e.g., automatic optical inspection, bed-of-nails, flying probe).
•Analyze production processes and machinery from a first principles, physics-based approach.
•Lead design of experiments (DOE) to establish a stable and robust process; perform defect characterization and root-cause analysis to improve yields.
•Develop project plans, budgets, and cost/benefit analyses for new processes or machines.
•Own and perform machine activation and testing with a small team of engineers and technicians.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline.
•1+ years of professional experience in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
•Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
•Experience with maintaining and troubleshooting electrical test equipment and fixtures.
•Experience with taking products from R&D into production.
