Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver new pricing functionality, market connectivity, and workflows for the Fixed Income Algo platform across regions.
  • •Participate in end-to-end architecture, design, and development activities, challenging the status quo to improve efficiency.
  • •Partner with trading, quant, and product stakeholders to improve trading strategies and platform capabilities, including performance, resilience, observability, and operational readiness.
  • •Mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance while setting and upholding engineering standards.
  • •Expand testing/back-testing and integrate with existing fixed income electronic trading platform and quantitative analytical tools; support 2nd-line support for implemented systems.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience developing and deploying production JVM-based high-performance Algo systems.
  • •Strong Java/Scala server-side development with demonstrated multi-threaded development.
  • •Experience designing and implementing high performance/low latency, reusable OOP (or functional) designs for global distributed systems in mission-critical trading environments.
  • •Experience integrating with e-trading protocols/encoding such as FIX and SBE (Simple Binary Encoding).
  • •Experience with testing/back-testing, and ownership of end-to-end requirements gathering, design, development, unit/system testing, implementation, and 2nd-line support.
