Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, guests, and other persons to maintain security and safety.
  • •Keep records/reports of daily activities and authorized persons entering and exiting the area.
  • •Verify non-credential guests and operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent prohibited items from entering restricted areas.
  • •Strategically organize and place authorized trucks, buses, and vehicles in the dock, and authenticate that only authorized vehicles are in secure areas.
  • •Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors and gates; warn persons of rule infractions and perform other assigned duties.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
  • •Good working knowledge of security operations, safety practices in a business environment, and enforcement procedures.
  • •Ability to perform duties professionally, make independent judgment decisions within policies and procedures, and uphold security protocol.
  • •Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • •Ability to remain attentive on post for 8-10 hours and perform physical duties including walking, climbing stairs, and lifting/carrying 50 lbs.
