Coordinate authorized trucks and buses in the dock while supporting venue security protocols to protect people and property.

Key Responsibilities

•Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, guests, and other persons to maintain security and safety.
•Keep records/reports of daily activities and authorized persons entering and exiting the area.
•Verify non-credential guests and operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent prohibited items from entering restricted areas.
•Strategically organize and place authorized trucks, buses, and vehicles in the dock, and authenticate that only authorized vehicles are in secure areas.
•Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors and gates; warn persons of rule infractions and perform other assigned duties.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
•Good working knowledge of security operations, safety practices in a business environment, and enforcement procedures.
•Ability to perform duties professionally, make independent judgment decisions within policies and procedures, and uphold security protocol.
•Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
•Ability to remain attentive on post for 8-10 hours and perform physical duties including walking, climbing stairs, and lifting/carrying 50 lbs.
