Join Commure/Athelas’ Air AI team to build the intelligence layer inside clinical workflows. You’ll develop scalable backend services and AI-powered features, collaborating with clinicians and engineers to deliver real-time, AI-driven notes, dialogues, and task automation across healthcare platforms leveraging Python, TypeScript/React, containers, and cloud technologies.

Job Function: Software Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Design, implement, and maintain scalable backend systems powering healthcare solutions, including AI workflows, integrations, migrations, and reporting infrastructure
•Leverage modern backend, data, and AI/LLM technologies to accelerate product development and deliver reliable, intelligent experiences to clinicians and patients
•Lead or contribute to technical planning for new features and platform capabilities, balancing feasibility, clinical usability, data integrity, and business impact
•Collaborate with product managers, designers, and clinical experts to ship dependable solutions that work in real clinical environments
•Be part of a fast-moving team that ships daily and makes decisions quickly

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
•Professional software engineering experience
•Strong Fullstack skills — Python on the backend, TypeScript/React on the frontend, with working knowledge of containers and cloud (Docker, Kubernetes)
•Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs or building AI-powered features in production
•Strong communication skills — comfortable working with both engineers and non-technical stakeholders including clinical teams
