Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide on-site and remote upgrades, troubleshooting, and sustainment for Motorola ASTRO systems.
  • •Troubleshoot IP networks and administer complex communications systems in a technical IT-type environment.
  • •Perform advanced troubleshooting of software-driven electronics and resolve system/application issues.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of hands-on experience with Motorola ASTRO technology or related areas such as LMR, RF systems, radio communications, system administration, networking equipment, or military communications.
  • •Proficiency troubleshooting IP networks and administering/troubleshooting in an IT-type environment (LAN/WAN, routing, switching, firewalls, bridges).
  • •Ability to provide advanced troubleshooting of ASTRO core applications and specialized systems, including RF and broadband performance optimization.
  • •Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain required security clearance (DoD Secret/T3) within 18 months.
  • •Must obtain CompTIA Security+ or CISSP (or Certified Electronics Technician) within the first 12 months of employment.
