Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide expert counsel on employment law issues including grievances, dismissals, employment contracts, and benefits.
  • •Advise People & Culture and business leaders on employee relations, risk management, and complex workplace issues, including works councils and union representation obligations.
  • •Manage employment litigation and disputes alongside the People & Culture team, providing regulatory and compliance advice.
  • •Monitor and communicate regional employment law and regulation developments, adjusting policies and practices with actionable guidance.
  • •Support cross-border employment law projects such as policy harmonisation, workforce changes, and compliance initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Law degree with admission to practice in at least Spain.
  • •Extensive experience as a qualified employment lawyer in a top-tier law firm and/or in-house legal department of a multinational organization.
  • •Proven success advising on complex Spanish employment law, including works councils, employee representatives, and union representation with consultation and negotiation experience.
  • •Fluency in English and Spanish with excellent written and oral communication skills in both languages.
  • •Ability to think analytically and pragmatically to provide innovative, proactive advice.
