Key Responsibilities

  • •Liaise with the RSAF EW Directorate point of contact to assess, prioritise, escalate, and ensure delivery of Ground EW Training per the Semi-Annual Plan (SAP).
  • •Deliver Ground EW Training including the current EW Officer course and lecture packages such as EW Initial and EW Refresher and Current Operations lectures.
  • •Supplement training using simulations such as Modern Air Combat Environment (MACE) and Augmented Reality Mission Observation & Rehearsal (ARMOR).
  • •Provide ad hoc EW briefings to RSAF and/or Electronic Warfare Directorate (EWD) nominated individuals.
  • •Maintain up-to-date knowledge of developments related to the role and provide specialist advice on training methodologies, technologies, and tools.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 5 years’ experience in Electronic Warfare (EW) with broad, up-to-date knowledge of EW and related technologies.
  • •Highly experienced in practical application of one or more EW roles, including signals intelligence/database operation, procurement/trials/training, radar/electro-optics/EW, fighter controlling (GCI/AWACS), active jamming, suppression of enemy air defences, or EW ground/air training.
  • •Experience and qualification in instructional techniques, preferably from a recognised school, with at least 2 years’ classroom, synthetic, or airborne/flying instruction.
  • •Minimum English language ability equivalent to IELTS score 5.5.
  • •Must be experienced in the structure of training systems and be able to provide out-of-base courses when requested by RSAF.
