Job Summary

Senior Water Conveyance Project Manager responsible for leading pipeline rehabilitation and design for municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater projects across the United States. Provides technical guidance, interfaces with clients and agencies, reviews plans and costs, conducts field inspections and condition assessments, and mentors junior staff within AECOM’s Water pipeline design practice.

•Technical lead for pipeline rehabilitation and design.
•Interface with client and regulatory agencies.
•Collaborate with pipeline design experts to develop and review design and construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
•Conduct field inspections and pipeline condition assessments to ensure compliance with design standards and regulations; assess remaining useful life and renewal treatments.
•Provide technical guidance to project teams and mentor junior staff; perform quality reviews of work.

Key Requirements

•BS in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering or related field + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
•Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
•8 years of project experience in design of municipal water, wastewater and/or stormwater pipeline design, analysis, installation, and inspection
•8 years of experience in Mathcad / MATLAB and FEA
•8 years of experience working with pipeline design codes, standards, and regulations
