You’ll scope, propose, price, and manage professional services engagements, collaborate with cross-functional teams, forecast bookings, and drive customer outcomes while enabling scalable service offerings within Harness’ AI-driven software delivery platform.

Job Function: Solutions Engineering & Sales Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Partner with customers and account teams to understand objectives and requirements and position Professional Services as a driver of customer success.
•Lead scoping sessions, discovery workshops, and solution discussions to identify the right mix of packaged and custom service offerings that accelerate onboarding and value realization.
•Develop and present professional services proposals, solution recommendations, pricing, and SOWs that articulate scope, value, delivery methodology, and outcomes.
•Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Implementation Engineering, and delivery partners to ensure engagements are properly scoped, staffed, and staged for execution.
•Drive professional services bookings and margin targets through forecasting, opportunity management, and strategic engagement with key accounts.

Travel: Low travel

Salary: USD 165,000 - 198,000 annually

Key Requirements

•5+ years in a technical sales, professional services, solutions consulting, or customer-facing role within software delivery, DevOps, cloud, or developer tooling ecosystem.
•5+ years of experience as a manager or technical lead for software engineering, DevOps delivery teams.
•Strong understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, platform engineering, cloud-native technologies, and SDLC best practices.
•Proven ability to consult with customers on technical transformation initiatives and improve delivery processes.
•Experience scoping complex technical engagements, developing service proposals, and drafting clear SOWs.
