Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate MIG welding equipment and air grinder to assemble and weld production components such as tank covers, nut guards, doors, and cubicle parts.
  • •Check parts against prints to ensure proper dimensions, locations, and conformance to quality specifications.
  • •Set up material in positioners, jigs, or fixtures and make simple layouts when required.
  • •Perform tack welding with appropriate wire feed, then grind excess weld and trim edges for correct fit and appearance.
  • •Operate crane/electric stackers and other mechanical assists to move, position, and unload heavy parts and assemblies; operate oxyacetylene cutting/carbon arc torch.

Key Requirements
