Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the metric registry: define canonical metric meanings, resolve disagreements, document decisions, and publish changes.
  • •Implement agreed definitions in the semantic layer and data catalog so systems apply them automatically and retire superseded versions.
  • •Reduce reporting surface area by auditing the reporting estate, retiring unused assets, and establishing ownership.
  • •Build data quality checks/agents for freshness, uniqueness, referential integrity, and reconciliation, routing failures to the right owners/agents.
  • •Verify AI agents by maintaining an inventory of agents, validating outputs against known-correct answers, and tracking accuracy/error rates.

Salary: USD 165,000 - 220,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years in analytics, analytics engineering, or a closely related field.
  • •Strong SQL, including comfort reverse-engineering undocumented transformation logic.
  • •Direct ownership of a semantic or metrics layer in production (dbt, Cube, LookML, or equivalent), with responsibility for what was built.
  • •Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicting metric definitions across functions and land a decision.
  • •Experience evaluating LLM/AI agent output against ground truth and contributing to data catalog/lineage tooling.
