Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive hands-on training and perform duties across the distribution center, including operations, management, and purchasing.
  • •Observe experienced employees to learn methods, procedures, and performance standards used in the distribution center.
  • •Shadow contractors/builders, service/maintenance, and retail store customers to learn the swimming pool, irrigation, and landscaping business.
  • •Participate in classroom training at the EDGEucation Center in Plano, Texas covering operations, financials, leadership, human capital management, and operating systems.
  • •Give a comprehensive presentation to senior level management at the end of the 6-month program; complete additional duties or projects as assigned.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain Management, Management, Operations, or a related discipline with a minimum of 2.5 GPA.
  • •Work experience in a leadership and/or problem solving role; or involvement in distribution/supply chain internships, organizations/clubs, volunteer work, athletics, or military leadership.
  • •Desire and ability to work in a distribution warehouse environment.
  • •Results-driven self-starter who can lead and develop a team with rapidly changing priorities.
  • •Willingness and ability to relocate during and after the program (company expense) and travel 25% of the time.
