Job Summary

Build and optimize intelligent document processing pipelines that extract structured data from unstructured financial documents. Use NLP and Document AI, OCR (Textract/Tesseract), and vision-language models to improve extraction accuracy for fund notices, capital calls, and NAV statements. Develop Python-based extraction/validation workflows, evaluate OCR/NLP/LLM approaches for performance and cost, and support deployment, monitoring, and continuous pipeline improvement in production.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, develop, and optimize document processing solutions to extract structured data from unstructured financial documents.
•Build and enhance NLP and Document AI pipelines using spaCy, Hugging Face, and LangChain.
•Develop and maintain OCR pipelines using Textract and Tesseract; handle scanned PDFs, images, and text-heavy documents.
•Implement and improve LLM-based extraction and classification workflows, including prompt engineering, model tuning, and annotation feedback.
•Extract, normalize, and validate key data elements (e.g., fund notices, capital calls, NAV statements) and support deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

•9+ years of experience in Data Science, NLP, Document AI, or intelligent document processing.
•Strong hands-on experience in Python for AI/ML development and document extraction components.
•Deep expertise in NLP and Document AI, including NLP/document understanding and entity extraction/classification workflows.
•Experience building and improving OCR pipelines, including hands-on use of Textract and Tesseract.
•Proven ability to implement LLM-based extraction/classification workflows for structured data extraction from unstructured financial documents.
