Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan and conduct high-quality, risk-oriented audits for Finance & Central Functions according to Allianz SE Audit German Desk standards.
  • •Assess processes, risks, and key controls to identify improvement opportunities across governance, risk management, and the internal control system (IKS).
  • •Develop and apply innovative audit approaches using data analytics and AI to efficiently identify risks, trends, and improvements.
  • •Work constructively with business areas, management, governance functions, and other internal audit departments.
  • •Present the Internal Audit German Desk as a trusted business partner through clear, professional communication.

Key Requirements

  • •Successfully completed university degree, preferably a master’s degree or comparable qualification.
  • •Several years of professional experience in external audit, internal audit, or a relevant function (e.g., risk, finance, controlling, actuarial, accounting, compliance, law, HR, market management).
  • •Strong understanding of governance, risk, and control processes with interest in further developing them in an insurance context.
  • •In-depth knowledge of regulatory and legal requirements for financial services providers and/or insurance companies.
  • •Very good German (C1+) and good English (B2+) skills.
