Job Summary

Support program financial planning and cost controls for the Naval Power/Shipboard SM3 portfolio within RTX’s Operations & Supply Chain (OSC) Finance organization. Build and maintain Estimates at Complete (EACs), perform weekly/monthly variance reporting and forecasting, analyze cost runs, and support cost accumulation and cost reduction efforts. Partner with Business Office, Program Operations Manager, and Material Program Managers to help meet program financial targets and contractual Earned Value requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Support creation of Estimates at Complete (EACs) quarterly, including costs, risks, and opportunities for factories and program/mission areas.
•Provide cost, schedule, and funding planning, reporting, monitoring, and analysis support using standard tools and processes.
•Prepare program financial forecasts, monitor actual costs, and explain variances to plans and forecasts.
•Manage cost accumulation methods for material on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
•Perform detailed financial analysis and support cost reduction projects and proposals, including Earned Value contract analysis requirements.

Key Requirements

•University degree (or equivalent experience) with minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with minimum 3 years experience.
•Experienced using MS Office with emphasis on Excel.
•Experience using finance tools.
•Experience comparing actuals vs. budget and explaining variances.
•Ability to perform detailed financial analysis to define monthly variances to budget baseline and EAC positions.
