Job Summary

Lead end-to-end cash and transaction reconciliation across channels, entities, and regions, owning break investigation through resolution. Drive cross-functional follow-ups and improve reconciliation controls by partnering with Product, Engineering, Data, and Finance. Manage SLAs, escalation paths, and month-end closings, and translate operational needs into PRDs. Continuously enhance reconciliation systems with automation, data quality checks, and dashboards while coaching and developing the reconciliation team.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead daily, weekly, and month-end reconciliations for cash and transaction flows across channels, entities, and regions with SLAs, escalation paths, and closing calendars.
•Manage reconciliation breaks end-to-end, including triage, investigation, root-cause analysis, documentation, and follow-up with partners until resolution.
•Identify control gaps and risks by understanding fund flows and transaction lifecycles, and design policies, procedures, and governance for strong financial controls.
•Drive continuous improvement of reconciliation systems, tools, and workflows, including automation and data quality checks.
•Partner with Product and Engineering to translate operational needs into PRDs and deliver measurable enhancements; lead and develop the reconciliation team.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience in financial operations, reconciliation, or related payments operations roles, with payments/fintech experience strongly preferred.
•Proven experience leading cash, settlement, and transaction reconciliations at scale and driving issues to closure with cross-functional teams.
•Strong understanding of end-to-end payment flows (authorisation, capture, settlement, refunds, disputes/chargebacks) and how they map to ledger entries.
•Experience improving reconciliation processes and systems, including automation, workflow tooling, data pipelines, and controls, with the ability to write clear requirements.
•Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, including people leadership experience.
