Job Function: Solutions Engineering & Sales Engineering

Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the account team as a Subject Matter Expert for OpenShift and AppServices with a focus on AI workloads.
  • •Scope and deliver deep-dive presentations, custom demos, workshops, and POCs, including answering product questions for written proposals.
  • •Provide pre-sales assistance and deep product/solutions expertise for complex solution development and implementation.
  • •Act as a technical liaison to Product BUs and engage with product teams to understand and influence technical roadmaps and recommended practices.
  • •Serve as a technical expert for AI/ML workloads on OpenShift, guiding integration of AI infrastructure and transition of AI/ML initiatives into production environments.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in sales engineering, consulting, IT architecture, or equivalent in supporting enterprise accounts.
  • •Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
  • •Ability to interpret customer business problems and technical issues, and explain how a Red Hat solution addresses requirements and opportunities.
  • •Deep knowledge of OpenShift & Application Services products (or strong familiarity with related Red Hat products).
  • •Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) plus infrastructure needs for AI workloads (e.g., containerization and orchestration).
