Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and grow engineers building the platform that allocates Datadog cloud costs to products and customers, setting runtime/release coverage onboarding and identity mapping.
  • •Own the publication contract with Finance, including versioned metrics with effective dates, backfill, and reproducible history for replayable closed periods.
  • •Own metric contracts with platform teams to shift cost facts to the teams that generate them, ensuring coverage growth doesn’t scale with headcount.
  • •Partner with Revenue Engineering on cost-to-revenue identity joining to produce margin per product and per customer.
  • •Drive continuous improvement in cost coverage accuracy, hold delivery commitments, and reduce key-person risk across runtime and compiler architecture.
