Key Responsibilities

•Support the development algorithms, tools and models for the JPALS program.
•Conduct statistical analysis, probability theory and Monte Carlo simulations.
•Support independent research and analysis.
•Work with a small team to conduct analysis for system trouble shooting and analysis.
•Understand technical papers and algorithm descriptions and integrate them into high fidelity models; lead technical discussion with customers and team presentations.

Key Requirements

•Proficient in MATLAB; code optimization and numerical stability.
•Proficient in performing data analysis and problem solving (e.g. anomaly investigation).
•Experience performing model-driven design using Simulink and auto generated code.
•Experience in basic software development principles – configuration control, collaborative development, formal processes.
•Experience in reading and developing algorithm descriptions, mathematical expressions and derivations, matrix manipulations, outlier analysis, and system level analysis.
