Handle defended liability matters for leading UK insurers within the Property Risks and Coverage team, advising on issues of liability and quantum. Work on property-related claims including impact damage, fires, escapes of water/oil, collision damage, boundary disputes, trespass, and nuisance. Review and investigate evidence, conduct legal research, draft court documents and applications, liaise with lay and insurer clients, and support settlements and advocacy through conferences and trials.
