Job Summary

Drive Zurich’s Cyber underwriting plan within the Tech PI area, managing complex, high-value risks aligned to appetite, guidelines, and pricing frameworks. Use data, portfolio insights, and market intelligence to make underwriting decisions, identify trends, and support product and proposition innovation. Build trusted broker and customer relationships, collaborate with the Head of Cyber and leadership, and provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring to colleagues.

•Lead and execute the Cyber underwriting plan, ensuring strong technical risk selection, pricing discipline, and portfolio optimization.
•Underwrite complex and high-value Cyber / Tech PI risks in line with appetite, guidelines, and pricing frameworks, focusing on governance and pipeline management/business development.
•Use data, portfolio insights, and market intelligence to inform underwriting decisions, identify trends, and support innovation in products and underwriting approach.
•Build and maintain strong broker and customer relationships, serving as a visible and trusted point of contact for Cyber & Tech PI.
•Collaborate with the Head of Cyber and leadership to deliver underwriting strategy and provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring to colleagues.

•Strong technical underwriting skills with commitment to risk quality and governance.
•Strong business and financial acumen, including the ability to interpret financial information and understand P&L drivers.
•Experience providing technical leadership, coaching, or mentoring to others.
