Job Summary

Lead delivery of development projects across site due diligence, masterplanning, detailed design, and construction support within the civil engineering business unit. Provide commercial and technical leadership to engineering teams, review and approve infrastructure designs and specifications for drainage, earthworks, pavements, highways/access, and utilities, and manage a portfolio of schemes. Support business development by building client relationships in the property and development sectors.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide commercial and technical leadership to teams of engineers and technicians, programming workloads, and delivering projects to time, budget, and quality.
•Lead, review, and approve civil engineering infrastructure designs and specifications for site development, earthworks, drainage, pavements, highways/access, and utility infrastructure.
•Undertake project management responsibilities across a portfolio of schemes.
•Support business development activities, developing client relationships and securing new work in the property and development sectors.
•Coordinate with other civil engineers and technical specialists across the UK and globally to deliver the project portfolio.

Key Requirements

•Significant experience in UK development-led infrastructure engineering, focused on SuDS, stormwater, and foul drainage gravity collection networks, using InfoDrainage and Civil 3D.
•A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
•Chartered Civil Engineer status or approaching Chartership (MICE).
•Strong technical capability designing highways, access roads, and project infrastructure including road geometry, drainage, earthworks, pavements, and underground services.
