Job Summary

Drive adoption of Alexion’s aHUS and HSCT-TMA across a territory covering major academic centers, hospitals, IDNs, and community sites. Build trusted relationships with healthcare stakeholders to generate demand, execute compliant clinical education, and support patient access. Develop disease-specific account plans, map referral and diagnostic workflows, mobilize cross-functional teams, and use CRM and AI-enabled insights to prioritize opportunities and track outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

•Achieve or exceed sales objectives in assigned territory and indications through field sales execution and compliant clinical education.
•Develop and execute disease-specific account plans for major academic centers, hospitals, IDNs, community accounts, and priority sites.
•Identify gaps in diagnostic workflows, referral pathways, operational readiness, and clinical protocol adoption, then implement solutions to optimize therapy adoption.
•Deliver approved clinical messaging to influence brand choice, support formulary access, and educate clinical stakeholders on disease state and therapy integration.
•Use CRM tools and AI-driven insights to manage territory priorities, track engagement, optimize call execution, and submit required reports accurately and on time.

Travel: High travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree.
•5+ years of experience in specialty pharma, rare disease sales, account management, or complex institutional selling.
•Strong understanding of healthcare systems, reimbursement processes, fulfillment pathways, and multi-stakeholder decision-making in hospital and academic settings.
•Proven track record navigating clinical formulary and access processes, engaging multidisciplinary stakeholders, and influencing treatment pathway adoption.
•Must live within the geographic territory or within 50 miles of the border, with a valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly.
