Job Summary

Lead 2U’s Deal Desk for FP&A, driving strategic commercial initiatives across the global education portfolio. Build and own financial models for new products, contracts, partnerships, and investments; evaluate revenue, margin, cash flow, ROI, and deal terms. Partner cross-functionally to develop business cases from launch evaluation through execution, manage renegotiations, and monitor performance against plan. Develop and govern a team of financial analysis professionals.

Key Responsibilities

•Build and own financial models for new products, contracts, partnerships, and strategic investments.
•Evaluate revenue, margin, cash flow, capital needs, unit economics, payback, and ROI; stress-test assumptions and define investment thresholds.
•Lead business cases and launch economics for short-form courses, credentials, executive education, and degree programs; track performance against plan.
•Provide financial analysis for contract renegotiations and partnership renewals/expansions; quantify impact on margin, cash flow, and contract value.
•Manage cross-functional execution and lead a team: set standards for models and approvals, prioritize resources, and surface risks early.

Salary: USD 150,000 - 170,000 annually

Key Requirements

•6–10+ years of experience in financial advisory such as investment banking, valuation, transaction advisory, or strategic finance.
•Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills (e.g., 3-statement modeling, DCF, scenario/sensitivity analysis).
•Experience supporting complex deal negotiations or working in a Deal Desk / Pricing / Revenue Operations environment / Corporate Development.
•Demonstrated experience managing and developing a team.
•Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
