Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, implement, and continuously improve site EHSS&S programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable requirements.
  • •Drive an interdependent safety culture through employee engagement, coaching, leadership involvement, and behavioral-based safety initiatives.
  • •Manage environmental compliance, including permits, emissions/effluent requirements, monitoring programs, regulatory reporting, and sustainability performance metrics.
  • •Lead audits, inspections, hazard assessments, job safety analyses, incident investigations, and root cause analyses with corrective and preventive action follow-through.
  • •Oversee plant security programs and sustainability initiatives, chair the Joint Plant Safety Committee, and manage EHSS&S resources and direct reports.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Management, or a related field (or equivalent education and relevant experience).
  • •Experience leading EHSS&S programs and/or manufacturing operations in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • •Strong knowledge of environmental, health, safety, security, and sustainability regulations, programs, standards, and management systems.
  • •Experience managing environmental permits, compliance reporting, audits/inspections, and regulatory agency interactions.
  • •Demonstrated ability to lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action processes.
