Key Responsibilities

•Lead structural design on mid-size projects and major tasks on large/complex projects.
•Direct and manage small teams of engineers and technicians (typically 2–6 staff).
•Independently perform and review structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports; conduct quality control reviews of others’ work.
•Develop structural cost estimates and write technical specification sections.
•Lead or significantly contribute to interdisciplinary coordination and design reviews; represent structural engineering in client meetings.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 120,000 - 150,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited program; 6+ years of structural engineering experience or equivalent
•Valid driver’s license and ability to conduct field/site visits
•Professional Engineer (PE) license in Colorado (or ability to obtain via comity within 6 months); Structural Engineer (SE) license in California or another high-seismic state
•Proficiency in 3D structural analysis software (ETABS, SAP2000, RISA, RAM Structural, SAFE, etc.) and Revit/AutoCAD/Bluebeam
•Experience with wind and seismic lateral design and retrofit of existing structures; prior aviation, federal, or large commercial project experience
