Job Summary

Design and govern enterprise-scale Atlassian platforms to enable Agile delivery, DevOps, ITSM, and cross-functional collaboration. Lead end-to-end cloud architecture and migrations across Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Bitbucket, Guard, and the broader Atlassian ecosystem. Provide integration and automation via REST APIs, webhooks, and Jira automation/Forge, while ensuring security, governance, performance, SLAs, and reliable operations through advisory and stakeholder leadership.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and lead end-to-end Atlassian platform architectures (Cloud), ensuring scalability, resilience, and enterprise integration for new implementations and migrations.
•Provide architecture leadership by translating business needs into technical specifications and driving implementation and cloud transformation plans.
•Serve as primary technical point of contact, resolving technical blockers and troubleshooting complex platform/workflow issues.
•Establish governance frameworks (workflows, permissions, automation, naming/configuration guidelines) and enforce guardrails for Marketplace apps and lifecycle management.
•Architect integrations and automation using REST APIs, webhooks, middleware, Jira automation, ScriptRunner/PowerScripts, and Forge; improve operations through SLAs, monitoring, incident procedures, and backup/restore.

Key Requirements

•Provide end-to-end Atlassian platform architecture leadership, including cloud implementations and migrations from Data Center/Server to Cloud.
•Translate business and technology needs into structured platform designs and technical specifications.
•Assess current Jira/Confluence environments to define architecture, identify risks and dependencies, and establish mitigation plans.
•Create scalable, secure, and cost-efficient solutions with architectural documentation, including integration flows and data models.
•Establish governance, best practices, and security measures for configurations, customisations, and user management.
