Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on light-, medium-, and heavy-duty vehicles and equipment.
  • •Diagnose and repair diesel and gasoline engines, brakes, suspension, steering, electrical systems, HVAC, hydraulics, and driveline components.
  • •Service and repair material-handling equipment, including pallet jacks, reach trucks, and electric forklifts (e.g., Raymond, Hyster, Yale, Toyota).
  • •Maintain accurate work orders, inspections, parts requests, and repair documentation; keep the mobile work environment clean, safe, and organized.
  • •Provide hands-on technical training and onboarding for forklift technicians, evaluate skill levels, coach trainees, and maintain training documentation while traveling for in-field training.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma/GED with 7 years’ experience (or alternative combinations with related certification and 5 years, or 9 years in a related field).
  • •8 years of professional technician experience in fleet maintenance, diesel repair, automotive repair, material handling, or forklift service preferred.
  • •Strong experience servicing and repairing electric forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment; demonstrated maintenance on light-, medium-, and heavy-duty equipment.
  • •Working knowledge of hydraulic systems, electrical systems, batteries/chargers, diesel engines, brakes, and preventive maintenance programs, plus ability to read wiring diagrams and service manuals.
  • •Ability to work independently in a mobile/field-service environment and maintain safety, documentation, and a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
