Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of mass affluent clients, selling, delivering, and providing ongoing service for retail banking products and services.
  • •Develop and update understanding of client financial needs using personal financial planning analysis, coordinating with investment account partners to support investment and asset allocation objectives.
  • •Stay current on economic, legal, and investment trends affecting mass affluent clients, serving as a personal financial planning/advisory resource for clients, their attorneys, and CPAs.
  • •Meet revenue, profitability, and retention goals by acquiring new clients, expanding services, marketing products, supporting sales management processes, and maintaining sales activity and pipeline in the contact management system.
  • •Coordinate integrated client service with Truist IRM partners and serve as an advocate for clients, while working within audit, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in business, accounting, finance, banking, or equivalent financial services experience.
  • •Minimum of five years of financial services experience working with clients in banking, investments, and/or retail lending (or one year in a financial client relationship manager role).
  • •Advanced knowledge of personal financial planning/advisory, insurance concepts, investment management, asset allocation, and retail credit/bank products for mass affluent clients.
  • •Active and maintained Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65 in lieu of 66) plus applicable Insurance licenses (Life, Health, Variable), or ability to obtain within 100-150 days; also must be SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant with NMLS background check.
  • •Strong interpersonal, sales, relationship management, and presentation skills, including proficiency with basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
