Key Responsibilities

  • •Define research investment objectives and focus areas for specific trait development programs in partnership with business units and breeding functions.
  • •Introduce differentiating science and regulatory practices and lead decision-making on concept and “trait category” selection for trait programs.
  • •Ensure R&D research activities and interfaces are structured to meet trait development objectives with visibility for business stakeholders.
  • •Identify cross-enterprise and cross-functional synergies to maximize activity and progress within available resources.
  • •Apply foresight to pursue high-impact opportunities and ensure delivery of core research objectives, including generating defendable IP and building scientific alliances.
