Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead a data processing solutions architecture team to research and develop GPU-accelerated techniques for databases, ETL, and data analytics.
  • •Analyze and optimize complex data-intensive workloads with industry and academia partners in China for best performance on current GPU/CPU architectures.
  • •Collaborate across NVIDIA research, hardware, system software, libraries, and tools teams to influence next-generation hardware architectures, software, and programming models.
  • •Influence industry and academia partners to advance data processing using NVIDIA’s full product line.
  • •Help drive performance optimization for applications through methods spanning memory management, compression, and parallel algorithms.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ overall years of experience, including 3 years of management experience.
  • •Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related computationally focused science degree (or equivalent experience).
  • •Programming fluency in C/C++ with a deep understanding of algorithms and software design.
  • •Hands-on low-level parallel programming experience, e.g., CUDA (preferred), OpenACC, OpenMP, MPI, pthreads, or TBB.
  • •Expertise in CPU/GPU architecture fundamentals, especially memory subsystem.
