Key Responsibilities

•Own backend development and iteration of TikTok Messaging for the Singapore team, including server-side capabilities for Streaks, Stickers, voice & video calls, and social messaging features.
•Build and maintain server-side IM infrastructure (IMCloud), including cloud-based IM data management and cross-datacenter synchronization.
•Safeguard user privacy and ensure IM data compliance with regulatory requirements across regions.
•Explore next-generation messaging experiences powered by LLM and AIGC, including conversational chatbots and AIGC-powered stickers.
•Continuously improve messaging system performance, stability, and scalability under high concurrency; reduce access costs and improve reliability.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic Information Engineering, or a related field.
•Strong learning and communication skills with a sustained passion for technology.
•Strong logical analysis and system abstraction abilities.
•Proficient in AI coding tools.
•Solid computer fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, operating systems) and familiarity with at least one programming language (Java/Go/C++/Python).
