Key Responsibilities

  • •Own backend development and iteration of TikTok Messaging for the Singapore team, including server-side capabilities for Streaks, Stickers, voice & video calls, and social messaging features.
  • •Build and maintain server-side IM infrastructure (IMCloud), including cloud-based IM data management and cross-datacenter synchronization.
  • •Safeguard user privacy and ensure IM data compliance with regulatory requirements across regions.
  • •Explore next-generation messaging experiences powered by LLM and AIGC, including conversational chatbots and AIGC-powered stickers.
  • •Continuously improve messaging system performance, stability, and scalability under high concurrency; reduce access costs and improve reliability.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic Information Engineering, or a related field.
  • •Strong learning and communication skills with a sustained passion for technology.
  • •Strong logical analysis and system abstraction abilities.
  • •Proficient in AI coding tools.
  • •Solid computer fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, operating systems) and familiarity with at least one programming language (Java/Go/C++/Python).
